Because the stage set used for Christina Aguilera's American tour could not be transhipped to Europe, our stage and set team were asked to produce a solution for the two-week European leg of the Stripped extravaganza. The brief was to copy, as closely as possible, the American set, but from rental stock, due to the limited timespan. The Litestructures solution was to use our standard LP4 truss as a framework, supporting a LiteDeck platform on top. We also provided all necessary steps and handrails for access and egress from the staging. The tour production mangement also requested that we produce a custom dancing pole to be connected to the LiteDeck and thence to the house stage. To prevent friction burns, this was fabricated from single, polished tube.
