Dynamic retailer, Dixon Stores group required a number of truss features
to be installed in all of their new sites in
an ongoing roll-out program. The plan called
for flown ceiling rafts above floor areas dedicated to
televisions, white goods and customer service,
with an additional requirement for stand-alone
features within the PC promo floorspace. In keeping with
the overall size of these large Currys stores,
Litestructures' suggestion was to use Maxi 3
truss for the flown sections, incorporating live power track within the
apex tube to provide
electrical circuits without visible wires. Our
AO 3 truss sections were used for the stand-alone
features. Different canopy colours were used
to differentiate zones and to create ambience,
employing white muslin for the kitchen area and
contrast enhancing black above the TV's. Retail Projects
