Vauxhall
Vauxhall commissioned Litestructures to design and build their stand for the 2004 Motor Show. This was quite a large stand as it was displaying the Vauxhall (GMC) range of commercial vehicles. Construction utilised standard AstraLite 3 and AstraLive 3 truss components. The down legs of the structure were clad with concealing foamex, while the longest unsupported span, at 9m, needed our patented expanding spigots to maintain rigidity. The entire rig, therefore, was constructed from standard components, supplied from our vast holding stocks, and with a correspondingly short lead time. The whole stand, measuring 20m x 15m x 4m, with truss elements took only 4 men, three hours to erect.
