Litestructures LiteMast has been designed in consultation with manufacturers and users of professional audio systems, targeting one aim, to be the best designed, most robust and easiest to use tower of its type on the market. LiteMast is constructed from Litestructures LitePro, 290mm compact heavy duty trussing system. Utilising the TaperLok™ Connection system makes the system quick to assemble, strong and rigid, whilst remaining compatible with similar 290mm trussing systems from other manufacturers. LiteMast is designed specifically for use with Line Array Speaker systems. Line Arrays are becoming increasingly popular in the professional touring, entertainment and conference markets, as they offer an uparalleled level of efficiency, allowing small and light boxes to produce high levels of sound, with the clarity and definition required by touring audience. ProBase Rather than using a simple fabricated corner for the rear truss junction, as is that case with alternative designs, LiteMast incorporates the innovative ProBase. ProBase was designed with 3 objectives, reducing weight and complexity, accuracy of manufacture and therefore assembly, and captive incorporation of the lifting solution. These three objectives are solved by the CNC Jet Profiled Construction of 6082T6 Aluminium Plate - giving the lightest and stiffest tower base of its type, machined and assembled to exacting tolerance every time. Fold 'n Roll Focusing on feedback from rental companies and touring crew, we've taken the step incorporating machined, hinged connectors on all three LiteMast variants. This gives the facility to completely 'fold down' the tower, rather than a time consuming complete disassembly. This innovation is set to save hours of crew time on the road, and with the optional wheel frames, the folder tower can also be rolled on and off transport, further increasing time savings. Universal Motor Mounting A further innovation - the lifting solution is incorporated directly onto the rear shelf of ProBase, eliminating the need to 'float' the motor and making one man rigging really. Adjustable mounting centres give quick fixing for the Verlinde Stagemaker range, but can easily be adapted for use of other generic lifting motors from Columbus McKinnon or LiftKet Electric Chain Hoists. |
